Our service area encompasses a 35-mile radius surrounding Ham Lake, Minnesota. Please note that certain exceptions may apply.

  • For your convenience, we accept various payment methods, including cash, checks, debit cards, and credit cards.

 

Service Call Rates

Happy Camper Mobile RV is located in Ham Lake, MN, and we come directly to you! Here's how our service call fees work:

  • Travel Charge: We charge $2.75 per mile to reach your location, with a minimum $30 service call fee.

  • Off-Road Travel: If your location is more than half a mile off a paved road, the rate increases to $10.00 per mile.

  • Round Trip Coverage: This travel charge is one-way only and covers the return trip if we need to revisit for the same issue.

The service charge covers:

  • Maintaining our vehicles and trailers

  • Registration costs

  • Fuel

  • Equipment upkeep

  • Potential hazards encountered on the road

Please note:

  • Additional charges apply for service locations beyond our 25-mile radius.

Our fees for service calls and labor rates may change without notice.

Labor Charge

Our labor rate is $195.00 per hour.

  • There is a minimum charge of one hour for any service call that comes to you.

  • Some services, like inspections and maintenance, may have fixed prices instead of an hourly rate.

Need help with a New Camper?

We love new campers! We understand that with a new camper comes a lot of questions and we are here to teach you the basics of your new camper and the maintenance required to keep your camper on the road and away from home. With a detailed walk-through guide of your camper, we will make sure all of your questions are answered and leave you confident for all your future adventures.

Warranty & Insurance

We partner with Warranty, Extended Warranty, and Insurance to assist with repairs. While we collaborate with most companies, some may not accept mobile repair services. Please confirm with your warranty or insurance provider. If unsure, contact us for guidance.

The processes will vary with every company for repairs and payment. We will work closely with you and the company to make sure all parties are well informed and the process is as smooth as possible.

Please be aware that different companies will cover different expenses, some companies may not cover our drive-time charges, labor for diagnostics, all of the part costs, and/or taxes. It is up to the discretion of the companies of what repairs and costs will be covered.

  • Repairs

    We offer repairs on all Travel Trailers, Truck Toppers, Pop-Up’s, Ice House’s, Destination Trailers, Fifth-Wheels, and RV’s. Our range of repairs cover everything on the ‘home’ side of RV’s, we do not work on any engine components. From electrical, to plumbing, to LP systems, appliances, and more, we’re sure we can help. Just give us a call or send us a contact request with any questions you may have. If we can’t help, we will always make sure to help you find a repair shop that can.

  • Inspections

    We provide a wide variety of inspections for you to choose from to make you feel safe and confident in your camper. Our inspections include:

    • Roof Inspection

    • Full Chassis Inspection

    • Safety Inspection

    • Appliance Inspection (with Mechanical Cleaning Optional)

    • New or Used Full Inspection

    After our inspections, we provide you with a detailed summary of what we looked for and anything that we may find that needs to be taken care of or that may become a future issue.

  • Maintanence

    We offer seasonal and yearly maintenance to make sure your camper is ready to go! Many of our maintanence options have pre-set pricing. Submit a contact request for our current pricing. Some of our maintanence options include:

  • Installations & Upgrades
